Mendengarkan lagu tHe VerVe yang satu ini serasa enggak pernah ada bosennya. Pertama kali gua mendengarkannya kira-kira hampir 10 tahun yang lalu hmm... lama ya? Ini gara" diracunin ma kk gw sih yang suka banget sama The Verve.Gank band beraliran britpop atau alternative rock ini terdiri dari Richard Ashcroft sang vokalis, Nick McCabe, Simon Jones, Peter Salisbury dan Simon Tong. Sayang banget di pertengahan tahun 1999 band ini dikabarkan bubar. Tetapi akhirnya mereka 'come back' di tahun 2007. Album terakhir mereka yang paling gress adalah 'Fourth'.
Dibandingkan lagunya yang lain seperti Bitter Sweet symphony, tHe Drugs Dont Work atau Sonnet yang ada di album Urban Hymns yang dirilis 1997, entah kenapa gue paling suka oNe DaY. Melody 'One Day' sederhana dan enak aja didengerin tapi lirik-lirik lagunya cukup ngena.
Seperti sebuah harapan terhadap masa depan, cinta, dan kehidupan. Juga mengajak yang mendengarkan untuk membuang semua rasa takut dan melihat keindahan hidup. Jadi kalo lagi ngerasa 'down' ini salah satu lagu penyemangat buat gue.
